Equipment integration history and recording

Regulations require manufacturers to maintain comprehensive equipment history records while also enforcing equipment status as part of process control. The mixture of systems and equipment creates potential for multiple sources of information, leading to data integrity risks, system configuration complexity, and reporting challenges.

By utilizing an Automation Integration Layer (AIL) using an Asset Software Platform, equipment events and statuses can be maintained as a single source of truth for reporting. MES workflows and/or DCS/PLC recipes will be used to perform actions, update statuses and write equipment specific information.
