Product specific data management

Maintaining product specific recipe configurations is costly, time consuming and introduces opportunity for process shift between product configurations and new product introductions. This leads to a higher burden of ownership and the potential for events that impact product quality.

Product specific data should be developed and housed in a process and knowledge management platform (PKM) which can span the entire product lifecycle. A PKM takes into account product-specific parameters associated with, but not limited to, materials, equipment, in-process controls and sequence of operations. Sequence of function can be maintained in product-agnostic execution recipes that are informed by the product-specific parameters, via your MES at run time.
